What Pakistani Designers Charge vs What International Clients Pay — The Honest Numbers
I'm in Lahore. My clients are in the UK, UAE, Qatar, and elsewhere. The question both sides ask: what do Pakistani designers charge, and what do international clients pay?
The honest answer: it's a spread. Pakistani designers working locally often charge in PKR at rates that look "low" in USD or GBP. The same designer working with international clients might charge in USD at rates that look "affordable" to the client and "strong" to the designer. Geographic arbitrage is real. It's also not a secret. Clients get quality and value. Designers get sustainable income and global experience. I've done brand identity, UI/UX, and motion for international clients. The work is on usamazahid.design and Behance. Real projects. Real outcomes.
I'm not publishing my rates here. I'm saying: the gap exists. Pakistani talent is under-priced in global terms when you convert. International clients who find the right designer get more for their budget. Designers who position clearly and deliver get paid fairly. Both sides win when the brief is clear and the work is the proof. How to find a brand designer in Pakistan for international clients is the other half.
